Up- i heard from a lot of different people that this was a cute movie, but not 100% okay for young kids since it touches on the subject of death. Yes it does mention death, but so did the Lion King, and my childhood didnt get ruined when Mufasa died.. just saying.. overall the movie was indeed cute. the little old man [whose name i forget] learned that his wife wanted him to be happy, and that's what he was in the end. And he became a nice father-figure/ grandpa/ role model for the little boy. [personally i think the fact that the little boy's daddy went MIA was more of a sensitive topic than the lady dying, but that's just me.] 4 out of 5 stars
The Hangover- THE funniest movie I've seen since The Kings of Comedy! I literally laughed from beginning to the end... just thinking bout it makes me laugh! 10 out of 5 stars... yes i said 10 out of 5... it was that funny
Beyond a Reasonable Doubt- this movie was.. okay.... nice plot, had lots of twists and turns t hat i did not expect! Seriously the ending was NOT at all what i expected!! Amber Tamblyn [Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants] is in it and Jesse Metcalf [soap opera Passions]. The beginning was kinda slow, took me a while to really get into it, which says a lot since i LOVE crime/ thriller movies. But once the movie got going, it got good! 3.5 out of 5 stars
The Proposal- this was a cute movie. I love Romantic-Comedies. The concept was cute!
Sandra Bullock's character held on to soo much anger and pain from her childhood that she was a b**ch to anyone 'below her' at her job.. until a little white lie and a weekend with a guy she was pretending to be engaged to, made her realize why she acted the way she did and why she needed to change her attitude.
Four Christmases - Although I'm not a big Vince Vaughn fan, this movie was funny. This movie did teach me that you gotta be careful of who you lie to and when you're around news cameras! And you're never too old to face your fears! 3.5 out of 5 stars
The Messengers- I only got this movie because KStew [that's Kristen Stewart aka Bella from Twilight, for you non-twilight fans] was in it. It was a decent 'scary' movie. kinda followed along with other 'kinda-sorta-but not really scary movies that came out in the late 2000's. 3 out of 5 stars
Paranormal Activity - This movie reminded me of The Blair Witch Project- which wasn't scary at all! So this movie was decent enough.. Although I did think the movie was based on a true story until I looked it up on google =) 3.5 out of 5 stars
