Home Sweet Home?

So I've been in Seattle now for 5 days and I'm liking it! The weather has been perfect despite all the "It rains a lot!" warning I got before I moved. I leave the boiling Lone Star State while it was in the high 90s and came north west to high 70s- mid 80s!!! I'll take that! Me and my roommate/best friend have done some sight seeing, went to one of the nearby malls, and in true tourist fashion i HAVE been taking pics :-D

Or apartment is nice... close to downtown, and right next door to a 24hour fitness [hello hot guys]!!! The more I venture into the city and do more sight-seeing I'll be sure to post it all here. 'Til then.. later!

Procrastination Kills

Soooo, how was everyone's Thanksgiving?! Good I hope. Mine was incredibly hectic! I started a new job Friday[ yep.... retail during black Friday!.. wasn't as bad as i expected.] Worked during the weekend, had a 8page paper to type by Tuesday and had to move!!! ummmm don't know how it happened, or how I survived it all but I did! and honestly the hardest part was that darn paper... [and some of my overly-stuffed boxes I think i'm a semi-hoarder]. I kinda sorta HATE writing papers.. doesn't matter how short or long I just dont like them. I tend to do well on them, better than I do on test but I still dont like them. maybe if I took a creative writiing class it would help my distain towards writing essays, but with one semester left to write papers, whats the point?!

MoVING!!!!

So its a long weekend and i would usually be lazy and sleep in, but i have so much going on its not even funnie! (1) i have a freaking 10 page paper due TUESDAY and i have not started... don't want to do another 10-pager in one day... it nearly killed me! (2) I'm MOVING!!! YAY! [this will knock off another thing on my 101 list] and (3) i just started a seasonal job at Macy's... YAY again. As crazy as it seems I've always wanted a job in retail, i guess to see what its like. Like I know what its like to work w/ the public, and deal with customers..I've done in with 2 previous jobs. but neither was a hugely popular department store [although each on their own are hugely popular in their on market/category]. So i look forward to jumping back into the "customer service" field.. even if its only for a few weeks.

Moving.... can we say STRESSFUL?! OMG i never realized i collected sooo much junk. but after 8 years in the same place and having to start over as far as furniture, clothes, etc... we haven't done too bad. by no means are we like the people on Hoarders.... Lord no, we're not that bad... but i will admit i'm a bit of a pack-rat that doesnt want to throw away my middle school pep squad uniform... lol... if i could find the pictures i'd be fine with letting the uniform go... but not until i find the pics. lol... so yea, this is going to be a long eventful/stressful weekend.
