Im still here :-)

Hi girls!!! I know I've been MIA all summer. It was a very hectic/stressful summer :-( I finished my internship- got an A!!!! Didn't do so well in my anatomy class.... Have to take it again *tears* main bad thing about that is all the sections at the community college near me are FULL O_O. On top of that my living situation is close to unbearable but I don't have the money to move. Sooo as much as I hate to I'm thinking about putting off the anatomy class til the spring and work as much as I can now so I can move by January.

Aside from all that stress, I've been eating healthier!!! Went on a one week "no meat" diet and it turned into a month! As a result of the diet (and a little stress I'm sure) I'm down to 149/150 lbs!!! So I've reached my goal weight!! I haven't exercised much during the summer, but now that I have a little more free time I'm sure I can get down to 140. That's the weight the trainer at the gym felt I could get down to. I thought she was crazy, but now I see its possible!!

I can't wait to get back to doing posts, nails of the week, hauls, etc! When I find time I might change up the layout a bit! Hope all is well with u all. Ttyl!

Hello all!! I know i have been super MIA since like May, but summer school is definitely kicking my butt! =( Will post regularly starting in August... 5 weeks left to go!!! Hope you are all having an amazing summer!!!

Stress =(

Hi girls! Just a quick update... I know I haven't actually blogged in FOREVER! sorry. I have my last final [ever] this Friday so I'm studying all week, and my mom is back in the hospital due to a negative reaction to some medicine one of her [stupid] doctors gave her. I'll try to start posting again next week, but I wont make that a promise just yet! Hope you all enjoy your winter break; good luck with finals!!

Busy, busy busy + new hair do

I've wanted to post so badly the last week or 2, but had NOTHING to blog about, with the exception of the 2 things I actually blogged about =/ Hope everyone enjoyed their October; can't believe its already over. I've been crazy busy w/ work lately... working 30+ hours is VERY time consuming, never understood that until now. I did nothing for Halloween because I worked all weekend, then one of my dear friends moved clear across the country! School is.. okay. I had a test last Friday and I think I did okay.. All-in-all life is okay. Mom is getting better which is always good.

Remember how I posted before about getting a half wig to wear as a protective style? Well this past weekend I got my first weave [sew-in]!!! My cousin did it and people have said they can't even tell its a weave! Posted a pic on Facebook and one of my sisters thought it was my real hair. Surprisingly the color matched perfectly =) I'll post a few pics below, what do you girls think?

Back to school / update

So this week is back to school. Usually I'm excited but due to my current situation I'm not excited about the 1 class I'm taking this semester. Well I'm sort of excited since its not at my normal school... its at a community college that I've never taken classes at before. But its Human Bio/ Anatomy.... 'nuff said!

Also this week I get to go through step one of the hiring process for a preschool/child care teacher job I applied for. woo hoo!! I thought I hadn't been considered because I applied back in July. I soo need a job in that field, or the last 4 years would have been a total waste!

On Sunday I went to church for the first time in FOREVER [like almost a year!]. And due to me being a total emotional girl I broke down crying before the opening song service ended....Guess I still had some built up stress I needed to let go. The service was good and I got to see many familiar faces, and one I wasn't expecting. My ex! Not that recent jerk I mentioned before... but a dude I dated when I was like 19!! Now that seems like ages ago! We caught for a while, good times; almost didn't seem like we hadn't seem each other for 5 years! Crazy.

I didn't get to see Takers :-(  but I'm totally cool about it! I will see it eventually. Heard a lot of good reviews so I'm even more exciting to see it... not sure how that's even possible since the 7 hotties in the movie had me all anxious! haha

.... About those letters...

So I know I said I would do the 30 day Letter challenge BUT I've changed my mind.... too much is going on right now for me to really finish all those letters. For now I will stick to my 101 list [which needs to be updated!] and my various other blog posts. Hope no one is upset behind me not finishing those letters.... it wouldn't have gotten too much more interesting I'm sure.
